Madison Zack-Wu (UW Tacoma)                                  

 

Madison graduated as a psychology major from UWT in 2022. Her interests pertain to understanding and relieving systemic oppression and marginalization. She assisted with psychological research of AAPI stress and anti-Asian racism related to the Covid-19 pandemic. Now, Madison is working to establish workers’ rights and protections for adult entertainers in Washington via legislation.

Madison joined the lab in Summer 2022.

Danalyn Lia Fernandez (UW Tacoma)​

Danalyn is a senior at UWT pursuing a major in psychology and a minor in education & community engagement. As a second-generation Filipina-American, she is passionate about culturally humble approaches to psychology, and is specifically interested in positive youth development, spirituality, and the mental health resilience of Asian Americans. She hopes to explore the intersections of her interests through her own research at UWT and in graduate school. In her free time, she enjoys baking, playing instruments, and spending time in nature.
