Simrat Samra (UW Tacoma)​                                          

​

Sim is a Junior at UWT pursuing a bachelors in psychology. She hopes to continue on to grad school and eventually pursue a Psy.D or PhD. Sim's interests are primarily in clinical, cognitive, and social  psychology.

​

Simrat joined the lab in the winter of 2019, and graduated from UWT Spring 2021. She is now pursuing a PhD in Social Psychology at the University of Denver.

Tess Morgan (UW Tacoma)                                    

Tess is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in psychology at the University of Washington-Tacoma. Her future plans are to continue her education and earn a Masters degree in the field of occupational therapy. Tess has a wide range of interest within the field of psychology and is passionate about helping children and people with special needs.

 

Tess joined the lab in the summer of 2020 and graduated Spring 2021. Tess is now pursuing a Masters in Occupational Therapy at University of Puget Sound.

Mackenzie Ayers (UW Tacoma)                                  

Mackenzie is pursuing a double major in psychology and criminal justice at the University of Washington-Tacoma. She hopes to attend grad school and dual enroll to achieve a PhD in psychology and a law degree. Career interests include forensic psychology, clinical psychiatry and neuroscience.

Mackenzie joined the lab in the autumn of 2018.

Brandon Bledsoe (UW Tacoma)                                     

​

Brandon is currently a Junior, majoring in psychology at the University of Washington Tacoma. He hopes to further his education after he graduates from undergrad and earn a PhD. Brandon is interested in social and clinical psychology and would like to eventually become a clinical therapist or help underrepresented groups cope with marginalization in society.

​

Brandon joined the lab in the spring of 2019. 

George Colón (UW Tacoma)               

​

George graduated with a bachelors degree in psychology in spring 2020 from UWT. In the future, he hopes to attend grad school to become a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. As a military veteran, he hopes to work with other military veterans dealing with PTSD and other traumas. His areas of interest include clinical, cognitive, and social psychology.

​

George was a member of the lab from autumn 2019-spring 2020.

Risha Sharma (UW Tacoma)                

​

Risha graduated with a bachelors degree in psychology in spring 2020 from UWT. She’s passionate about the social and cognitive aspects of psychology in daily lives, especially the workforce. Risha aspires to get into an Industrial Organizational graduate program and, in the future, she wants to join the business industry, working on the relationship between employee and employers. 

​

Risha was a member of the lab from winter 2019-spring 2020. 

Hannah Beasley (UW Tacoma)         

 

Hannah graduated with a bachelors degree in psychology in winter 2020 from UWT. After graduating she plans to continue her education and earn her PhD. Her areas of interest are cognition, social psychology, and behavioral neuroscience. She hopes to use her education to pursue a career in research.

Annia Barajas​ (UW Tacoma)                

​

Annia graduated in spring of 2018 as a psychology major and a spanish languages and cultures minor. After her graduation, Annia planned to pursue a masters degree in sports psychology. Her goal is to keep working in what she's passionate about in the psychology field and to continue to prepare herself to be able to give back to her community that has helped her to achieve her own goals.

Miguel Luna (UW Tacoma)                       

​

Miguel A. Luna Jr. graduated in spring of 2019 with an undergraduate degree in psychology. He hopes to continue his education by pursuing a PhD and specializing in cognitive psychology. His educational interests include areas of personality development, emotional development, and memory.

​

Miguel was a member of the lab from autumn 2018-spring 2018. 

Stephanie Hilaire (Hofstra University)

​

Stephanie worked on her Honors Thesis project under my supervision during the 2017-2018 academic year at Hofstra University. In her project, she examined the influence of dynamic vs. rigid characters in the media on audience's self complexity. 

​

Stephanie has been awarded High Honors distinction for her work.
